Apparently I caught these fish with an event lure, but that doesn't prove whether or not I completed this particular mission especially seeing that the Walleye is caught on the wrong lure. After years of playing FP i just figured this out recently lol. (Dont worry your pole wont break) that way you can turn your drag all the way up and dont have to worry about your line snapping. Prior to the last 12 months or so, I never bothered doing many of the missions whether they were a holiday mission or just an any time mission, so I can't remember ever trying to complete the 4th of July mission before. Always equip a reel 3-5 pounds lower than rod. You can see from any of these screenshots that I have been playing this game sine August 2016, so I do know what I am doing (until now). The Walleye is supposed to be caught on the Rattlesnake. I looked in my Personal Best list and saw that I have the Walleye and Pike caught on a Patriotic Walker.
It only gave me the Emerald Sunken Canoe mission (I suppose as if I had already done the Fish Tag 1 mission). When this year's event started, I never got the Fish Tag Coordinates 1 mission.
